Good article, I had never seen that site before, its got a lot of info on it (no pun intended).
Can you believe the quote from the guy on the jury? I don't think it was a jury of "peers" if they were all as anti-anything-Internet-related as that dude!!
I think the best thing you can say about the RIAA right now has been said in that article, and many others: the RIAA is targeting its best customers. In my experience, it's 100% true. Most of the people I know who download music also buy it by the bucketful. And attend concerts like crazy.
This whole copyright/intellectual property thing is crazy. I won't be buying mp3s from Amazon any time soon because of the INSANE idea Amazon has that you're renting the music. (It's all in the agreement you agree to.) Now, I'm not sure Apple is any different, but I've pretty much stopped buying music at the Apple Store because of the DRM.
